Technical Project Manager

  • Project Manager

  • Ruby On Rails

  • React Native

  • .Net

  • Direct Selling

  • E Commerce

Description

At Plum, you’ll join a cross-functional, international team (US, Argentina, Nepal) to help deliver projects—a Shopify-like, cloud-based platform focused on digital transformation in Direct Selling. It merges e-commerce with engaging, gamified experiences, allowing Direct Selling companies to seamlessly manage orders, compliance, commissions, and more. It’s built with Ruby on Rails, React Native, and .NET in Google Cloud environments.
We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager who can coordinate multiple dev teams and stakeholders—Product Owners, Marketing, Sales, CTO, CEO—across various time zones. Your role will include running daily standups, hosting weekly meetings, and ensuring clear communication for everything from small bug fixes to larger architectural decisions.
Our culture values a healthy, fun environment and continuous improvement. If you love driving cross-functional projects, bridging technical and non-technical teams, and championing product excellence, you’ll fit right in.

Requirements

The kind of people we like to work with
  • Are highly curious and enjoy optimizing processes.
  • Value continuous learning and sharing knowledge.
  • Communicate openly and honestly.
  • Balance pragmatism with best practices.

What you bring

  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management (or similar), coordinating multiple teams across different tech stacks.
  • Strong technical aptitude: You don’t have to code, but should comfortably discuss Rails/React Native/.NET architectures, workflows, and bugs.
  • Advanced English (C1+ or higher) for collaborating with international dev teams and clients.
  • Familiarity with Kanban or related agile methodologies; experience running daily standups and weekly syncs.
  • Proficiency with ClickUp, Slack, and Google Workspace for task management and communication.
  • Ability to work effectively in Argentina, MST, or EST time zones.
  • Comfortable engaging with Product Owners, Marketing, Sales, CTO, and CEO on project needs and priorities.

Bonus points

  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • History of working with remote, cross-functional teams in an e-commerce or SaaS environment.
  • Prior client-facing roles in software or digital agencies.

Responsibilities

  1. Project Coordination
    • Serve as the main liaison between non-technical teams (marketing, sales, account managers) and development squads in multiple regions.
  2. Task Management
    • Translate client and internal requests into ClickUp tasks, assign them to the appropriate teams, and track progress.
  3. Standups & Weekly Meetings
    • Facilitate regular check-ins to discuss status, identify blockers, and ensure alignment across teams and time zones.
  4. Technical Discussions
    • Participate in high-level technical conversations—understand enough to clarify requirements, escalate deeper architectural issues to the CTO or lead engineers.
  5. Reporting & Communication
    • Keep stakeholders updated on project timelines, potential risks, and overall progress.
  6. Process Improvement
    • Advocate best practices in project management, offer workflow optimizations, and maintain high-quality standards for deliverables.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Product Owners, Marketing, and Sales to align project goals with business objectives, making sure technical solutions meet user needs.

Benefits

  • Remote-Friendly Environment: Work from anywhere or join us at our office in RĂo Cuarto, Argentina—designed for enjoyable and collaborative work.
  • Continuous Learning: Access to the Plum Library—expense work-related books and share your insights with the team.
  • Health & Wellness: Enjoy a US$150 annual stipend for therapy, fitness, or anything that supports your well-being.
  • Competitive Salary: We offer compensation aligned with current market standards.
  • Positive Culture: Join a supportive team that values honesty, curiosity, and continuous improvement.

We look forward to hearing from you!
